Chloe Jade Green has always loved fashion – from experimenting with her Mother’s high heels as a child to sitting on the front rows of some of the biggest catwalk shows around the world. Having grown up amongst the UK’s number one fashion empire, Arcadia, Chloe was always destined for a future in the fashion world. In 2012, Chloe launched the CJG brand with her debut collection of shoes and accessories.
Each shoe in the CJG range is made from carefully selected materials of the best quality and in keeping with Chloe’s personal style, the collection mixes soft femininity with a rock edge. All styles feature the signature green sole.
For Spring Summer 2014 the Chloe Jade Green collection takes inspiration from the Americas.
Featuring styles that are perfect for dancing all night long or relaxing poolside – with super skinny sexy heels, pointed courts and summer must-have wedges, each design encompasses the vibrant and dynamic vibes of the Americas. Dusty desert washed materials, laser cut desert bloom leathers and animal prints define the theme of the range.
The hot tropics of South America and the dusty plains of Palm Springs are translated into styles through raw natural jute which is toughened up with a metallic chain edge, bold patterns and statement printed leathers. The carnival spirit is encapsulated through bold metallics, colour and sparkle alongside embellished appliqué and cut out detailing, which adds surface interest to the clean and simple profiles.
Inspired by lazy LA afternoons and California dreaming the relaxed, laid back style is merged into the range with flats that are given interest with embellished appliqués, delicate studwork and classic summer wedges as well as minimalistic strappy sandals. In keeping with Chloe’s signature style each shoe has a green sole and is named by Chloe herself. This season naming each shoe after places she has visited across the Americas – from Upper East to Rio de Janiero – the city styles are reflected in each design.
Silk scarves remain in the collection and have been revamped for the season ahead. They continue the theme of a Palm Spring desert with a beautiful watercolour effect and lens glare. The Latino influence continues with inspiration from the theme of The Day of the Dead skulls, mixed with pretty lacework for a feminine edge.
